Welcome to RFPME! This is my first year at River Falls Public Montessori Elementary School and I am excited to get to know all who come through our doors.
My family of seven claims Red Wing, MN as home and my daily drive through bluff country is beautiful.
I come to RFPME with a background in both traditional and Montessori education. I earned my BA in Sociology, BEd in Elementary Education and my MEd in Montessori Education. I received my AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota. I taught in a traditional school at the beginning of my career, then became a Children's House Guide for 13 years and a Head of School for 12 years in Red Wing.
I love how Montessori Education touches all who have connection to it. Montessori truly helps each individual - young or old - find their authentic self and path as a contributing member of our beautiful, complex world.
