Hello Senior Students and Parents,
We wanted to pass along some information regarding the senior class party.
Now that the t-shirt deadline has passed, anyone interested in registering for the party (that has not already done so), can do so by completing the party registration form: Senior Party Registration
Shirts will arrive later this month and will be available for pick up at the high school. We will send more information out once the shirts have arrived and we have confirmed the pick up date(s).
Memory Boards are often created by students to display in Memory Lane at the party. You can learn more about the requirements along with helpful hints by clicking <HERE>. There are lots of options....you can print pictures and attach them to the foam board, you can have them laminated locally or you can create a poster using Walgreens, Shutterfly, etc. and attach it to using adhesive glue to the foam board. If you decide to have your foam board laminated, Custom Framing does a great job. They confirmed that their deadline is May 22. Boards must be delivered to the high school office by 3:00 on Thursday, May 30. Boards are returned to students as they leave the party. You can also connect with us via social media for updates and information:

What are the dress expectations?
Students are reminded of the dignity and decorum that should accompany such an important event. Considering graduation is a formal ceremony, students are expected to dress appropriately. The only decorations that are allowed on the gown is the cord, no corsages, etc. Also, there are no decorations allowed on caps.
What time do the doors open?
Doors (only the front Commons doors will be unlocked) will open at 12 noon. There will be ample seating in the gymnasium.
Do I need to have tickets?
It has been determined that 6 (six) tickets will be issued to each student/family. This means, even if there is more than one senior within the same family (twins, triplets, etc.), you will still receive only 6 tickets total. Tickets will be given directly to your senior from their WIN teacher the week before graduation. All early graduates can stop in to the Main Office to pick theirs up. Tickets are not transferable. The ceremony will be live-streamed via YouTube, and the link will be emailed closer to graduation.
We have an elderly family member who will need special access/seating?
There is an elevator available next to the commons/auditorium doors which can be used to be able to get to the lower level gymnasium for families that need it. There is seating available on the floor behind the graduates. Seating is on a first come-first served basis.
When does my graduate need to be at school?
We ask that graduates be here no later than 12:30 p.m. so that we can begin the program on time. The ceremony begins at 1:00 in the gym, and will last approximately an hour and a half. At the conclusion of the ceremony, graduates will be directed into the Commons area, and outside, for you to greet and congratulate them and take pictures.
Where can I park?
We encourage carpooling as much as possible. Graduates should park in the staff lots on the south and west sides of the building and enter the building through the Auxiliary Gym. The front of the building may be used to drop off guests, but leave these parking spots for grandparents and those with disability parking stickers. Guests park in the student lots and the Wildcat Centre parking lot across the street.
Will a professional photographer be taking photos?
Yes, Kemmetmueller Photography will be taking photos of your student receiving their diploma. A small proof and an order form will be emailed to you. There is no obligation to purchase any of the photographs. Parents and others taking photographs are asked to please respect the boundaries set up in the aisles and the walkway so as not to interfere with the ceremony.

It's that time of year again! The Senior Class Party Committee has started making our plans for the 2024 Senior Class Party, which is scheduled for Friday, May 31 st this year.
As always, we need the help of anyone who is interested (especially those who DON'T have a Senior ).
Here are some ways to help...
First, please take a look at the linked "Give Back Events" Flier (below). Six local businesses have, once again, partnered with us to host special events in which they will give a portion of their sales, that day or given time frame, to the Senior Class Party. These events have been huge successes the last few years because of our awesome community involvement and patronage. We hope to have the same great response to each event again this year.

What is ACP?
Academic and Career Planning, or ACP, is a student-driven, adult-supported process in which students create and cultivate their own unique and information-based visions for post-secondary success, obtained through self-exploration, career exploration, and the development of career management and planning skills.
It is part of DPI's overall vision for every student to graduate high school and be college and career ready. That means students must be competent both socially and emotionally. We want our students to be strong critical thinkers, collaborate and solve real-world problems, and persevere when things aren't quite going their way.
When put together, it's about making them productive adults with satisfying careers.

The purpose of the River Falls Laude System is to encourage and recognize graduates for completion of challenging coursework and prepare for future success.
The School District of River Falls does not recognize valedictorian or salutatorian. Instead, students will earn a certain recognition level through a point total accrued in their academic career.
Laude scores will be calculated after Term 3 of students' Senior Year. A cumulative GPA of 3.3 is required to be eligible for Laude Recognition.
